Research of Genre: Western

     Hey world, it's Aniyah. So, our first project in AICE Media was to do research on a genre topic picked at random. We got western as our genre topic and honestly, it was something I didn't know much about.  Western has never really been the type of movies I liked to watch. After the research, I learned a lot more about the genre and started to find appreciation for it. They put a lot of work into shooting the action shots in the film and getting the perfect angle of the shoot-offs. Things that are often seen are guns horses and cowboys. They have a lot of scenes where it shows the cowboy riding off into the sunset or just riding off in general. They add extra sounds like horse clacking and gunshots and even background music.
